The purpose of Women’s Aid is to provide a quality based holistic service to women, children and young people affected by all forms of domestic and sexual violence; to educate, challenge and co-operate with external agencies and the wider community with a vision to eradicate domestic and sexual violence.
Shelter
Provide temporary refuge to women and their children suffering domestic and sexual violence
Support
Offer support and advice to any woman who asks for it
Educate
Educate and inform the public, the media and agencies about abuse
Encourage
Encourage the woman to take control of her own future
CARE
Recognise and care for the emotional needs of the children
